Find Your Outdoors: Youth Day

Families in Southern Oregon are invited to Youth Outdoor Day on Saturday, June 6th from 10:00AM to 3:00PM at the Josephine County Sportsman Association.

Hosted by the Oregon Hunters Association Josephine County Chapter, this free event gives kids ages 6 to 18 the chance to try hands-on outdoor activities.

Participants will rotate through stations where they can shoot archery and air rifles with guidance, learn to cast a fishing rod, identify animal tracks, practice navigation with map and compass, and hear real wildlife calls in action. Kids can also climb the rock wall, complete a passport challenge, enjoy lunch on us, and enter to win door prizes. Parents are invited to attend a seminar titled “My Kid Wants to Hunt—Now What?” offered twice during the day.
