Limpy Creek Botanical Trail walk: Discover, Observe & Learn
Join the Siskiyou Chapter of the Native Plant Society of Oregon and KS Wild on this hike along the Limpy Botanical Trail. The Limpy Botanical trail features a high diversity of native plant species influenced by serpentine geology. The easy, one-mile hike will travel through a variety of unique habitats, passing by sweet smelling azaleas (Rhododendron occidentale) and fields of blue camas (Camassia quamash) blooming, amongst 250 other plant species recorded in this location. Bring your favorite wildflower book, binoculars, lunch, comfortable layered clothing, sun protection, and closed toed shoes. Please RSVP for carpool locations and more details.
