Tentative Course Schedule: 9:00 ? 10:30 a.m. Instructor-student introductions and Power Point presentation on the biology of ticks. 10:30 a.m. ? 12:00 p.m. Lab session learning to identify various tick species. 12:00 ? 12:30 p.m. Lunch at SFI (bring a sack lunch) 12:30 ? 2:00 pm. PowerPoint on ecology and species 2:00 pm. ? 4:00 pm. Local field trip to collect ticks** 4:00 pm. - ? Opportunity to examine collected ticks under microscope
